California Vision began as a framework to offer design and technical services with a focus on multicloud computing. It is a challenge to navigate the landscape of available services and gain proficiency without the negative aspects of unwanted sales contacts and unexpected charges. This blog is a work in progress and there will be technical content on a variety of topics.
Small businesses use various tools like QuickBooks that can easily export a customer list in the .CSV format. That file export option can be the centerpiece of a more sophisticated engagement strategy using cloud services. The Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) process is similar to the process of the garment manufacturing process from fiber production through weaving to sewing and retail sales.
Raw data is not useful in much the same way that bales of cotton are not ready to be cut and sewn by a designer. One topic of this blog will be to explore different approaches to ETL and various data analytics and marketing strategies that are possible after an ETL process is established.
Certification on major cloud platforms is difficult to achieve and demonstrates expertise. This blog will focus in part on my current effort to pass OCI Architect Associate certification and other exams. The direct mail services offered by California Vision are part of a data management process related to customer engagement that merges new technology with a legacy advertising format that continues to be relevant for messaging.
